Winter Illusions
I look out the window to watch the sky.
You’re all over my mind, I realize.
I decide to take a short walk outside.
I am so confused, my heart’s beating wild.
I can’t focus on anything right now.
I’m unreliable, lost joy somehow.
I reminisce the days I first saw thou.
You’re with someone else now, my heart says “Ow!”
All that I can see is your pretty face.
Oh, will I see another with such grace?
Losing you hurt me much these past few days.
But you were never mine, in any case.
I stop by the beach to watch the sunset.
I saw the most resplendent rainbow yet.
Lasting all night, baffling my intellect,
That winter illusion eased my heartache.

Who I Am
I became what I am with the help of God, and I thank Him for all that. He made me the man I am today. Though I still sin and commit a lot of mistakes, at least I do know one thing- God is love. I will do anything in my power to serve Him, in the hope that one day, I will get saved and be brought to heaven along with my brothers and sisters that I look up to. I love them all. They taught me everything I know. I thank God for that. To God be the Glory!!!
